Hi, I’m Stefanie. I’ve been a vegetarian for 21 years and more recently have narrowed my diet to mostly vegan. I am interested in optimizing my health through a whole food, plant-based diet, and I’ve been reading any information I can get my hands on to increase my knowledge about vegan nutrition and healthful recipes. When friends began asking for recipes and advice pretty regularly, I decided to start a blog that focuses on all aspects of a healthy vegan lifestyle, to share what I’ve learned with anyone who might be interested. A blog is the perfect project for me because it gives me the opportunity to combine many of my passions – cooking, baking, photography, writing and health – into a single project and labor of love.
I’ve been self-employed as a French translator since 2001 and I also recently began doing some work as a copywriter and editor on a freelance basis. I’ve been dedicated to an Ashtanga yoga practice for over 13 years now and occasionally also teach yoga. I love to travel, hike, camp and spend time with family and friends, especially over a meal. For me, there are few things more satisfying than feeding the people I love.
